Hyderabad: ThunderPlus, EV charging infrastructure company, has announced the launch of a new fast EV charging station in Hyderabad, developed by converting an underutilised parcel of land into a revenue-generating clean mobility hub.
The facility has been established in partnership with Manoj, the eighth EV charging franchise owner under the company network. An IT professional by background, Manoj repurposed unused land into a future-ready EV charging station—demonstrating how idle assets can be transformed into sustainable and commercially viable EV infrastructure.
Strategically located between Bachupally and Bowrampet, the public charging station is equipped with a 60 kW fast charger, capable of supporting 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles. The station is open to all EV users and offers a simple, app-free charging experience, making it convenient for daily commuters and fleet operators alike.
“India does not have a land shortage—it has an infrastructure utilisation problem,” said Rajeev YSR, ED and CEO of ThunderPlus.
